About the event

It is a legal requirement for at least one person on-site to possess this certificate when preparing food for the public in community hall kitchens. The course is $50, fully funded by HNN for those serving food in halls hosting SALC events and activities. For the course to qualify for funding, more than 50% of attendees must be over 55 years old. Younger participants may also have their fees covered if the majority are 55 or older. Please note: If you reserve a spot but fail to attend without 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged $50.


In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, the course will be held on Tuesday – February 11th

9:00 am – 3:00 pm followed by the exam. Each participant's exam duration will vary…
