My Dad, J. Norton Cairns was the Reeve of Darling Township from 1969-1979. After connecting with the other halls in the HNN, a clock was discovered in the basement of Tatlock Hall. You see, Tatlock used to be where Darling Township held its meetings.

The clock was dedicated to my Dad for his 10 years of service where he was able to implement many changes; probably the most important one was getting women the right to vote in the municipal elections! Thank you to the members of Tatlock for keeping his memory alive. (Submitted by Brian Cairns, Chair of DWLC)
